EZC BUILDINGS
Serving
California Capability: EZC buildings are all-steel structures up to 30' wide and 16' tall. Fully enclosed, partially enclosed, and roof only. Load requirements available to 40 lb/psf roof snow load and all seismic zones. Shipping: EZC buildings are shipped economically throughout California. A forklift, personnel/operator, and all-weather unloading site with truck access are provided by customer. Foundation Engineering: Basic design is available at no additional cost per the local loading and building code requirements. Occasionally local engineers must be hired to provide foundation design. Special considerations must be disclosed as required, such as: frost depth, unusual soil conditions, special building department requirements, excavations, flood hazards, etc. Engineering: Calculations and drafting stamped by a licensed professional engineer are included in standard prices. Service: An installation manual is provided, and Billet Steel personnel are available toll-free by telephone to answer installation questions. The Billet Family has manufacturing AND contracting backgrounds--we understand the questions you may have before and during installation. Don't hesitate to give us a call at (800) 942-2276. Billet Steel provides design, clip manufacturing, detailing, shipping and manufacturing coordination. Sheeting: 26 gauge hi-rib steel sheeting. Warranty information available. Skylights are 8oz fiberglass. Roof, walls, and trim are available in galvanized or your choice of 15 colors. Walls: Base is an 18 gauge galvanized trim. Base fasteners are concealed in trim. Foam closures are provided for the top and bottom of walls. Roof: Foam closures are provided at the eave. Ridge cap is universal with closures. Formed ridge cap is available. Roof mastic is available at no charge upon request. Eave: Simple eave trim with foam closures. Gutter is optional. Optional Accessories: Windows, personnel doors, skylights, turbine vents, 10' ridge vents with dampers, gravity vents with dampers, and 15 sheeting colors. What does the standard EZC building NOT include?: You provide the correct snow, wind, applicable code, special considerations (such as adjacent buildings), and seismic zone information (these are easily available from your building department). Anchor bolts to attach the columns to the concrete are not included, these also require nuts and washers. Doors (except personnel doors) and insulation are not included. You provide a place, forklift, and able-bodied operator to unload the building. You provide installation (excavation, concrete, steel and door installation, electrical, building department coordination and fees, etc). What DOES the standard EZC building include?: An installation manual, clip drawings, drafting. Calculations for your building department. Basic foundation (concrete) design. Galvanized steel columns, rafters, wall girts, roof purlins, rake angle, and base trim. Bolts and screws. Galvanized roof sheeting. Color wall sheeting. Universal ridge cap. Gable and simple eave trim. Roof and wall foam closures. Skylights and a personnel door. Shipping. Other options are available. How are EZC buildings different from pole barns?: The frame is all-steel, which is fire and rot resistant. Fasteners do not loosen over the years. Insurance is often less. Pole barn foundations are often simpler and cheaper, but do not have the long-term strength and appeal of a metal building foundation. The strength of steel is consistent, unlike the inconsistent quality of wood. The sheeting is 26 gauge unlike the thinner 29 gauge used in many pole barns (this resists denting during and after installation). How are EZC buildings different from other steel buildings?: The frame is galvanized, which most agree provides a much more attractive interior than red-oxide frames. The primary frame is factory galvanized coated, where many are painted with a red-oxide primer (which is less rust resistant in humid climates). We provide foam closures at the top and base of walls. The sheeting is 26 gauge unlike the thinner 29 gauge used by many companies. Shipping is included to most states, and very economical in other states. Calculations are included. Skylights are included. The base trim at walls is formed to conceal fasteners, rather than a simple angle. Rafters are mounted horizontally, allowing easier installation. BASIC FOUNDATION ENGINEERING IS INCLUDED.
